They often have people like Steve Forbes on who always talk about Democrats being big spenders, yet the moderators on these programs never correct their guest when they talk about federal spending. Are they just ignorant or do they try to mislead the viewers on purpose? These are the same guys that were wrong about the Bush economy and the meltdown. The numbers say why and a lot of other things. It shows that even though federal spending increased less under Clinton, the money was spent wisely and in the proper places to generate the best economy. I also read just recently where the average workers earnings rose faster and higher during the Clinton administration and that those wages actually went down during the Bush 8 years.
